    The jagged edges
White tips pointed on the tops
    Of the snow-capped mountains

    Darkness surrounds me
    Bolts of lightening streak throughout
    The moonless midnight

    Open the window
    Listen to the melody
    Of the mockingbird

    Prickly thorns from the
Red beauties battle the white petals
    War of the roses

    Sweet and delightful
Smell of home made apple pie
    Sweeps through the cracked window

    Warmth is fading away
As the cold air takes over
    The fall atmosphere

    Her nose tickles her
After she smells the fresh scent
    Of the red roses

    My mouth craves for a
Big deep dish of apple pie
    And vanilla ice cream

    Finally a break;
That did not last long enough
    For me to enjoy

    She wanted us to
    Massage her hard crusty feet
    But I wouldn't dare

    I have extrememly
Too much to do and not enough
    Time to do it
